UK Forced Adoptions Roundup

I'm trying to get some old items out of my inbox and posted.

The whackadoo UK social services adoption quota monstrosity continues on. How do people who have done a domestic adoption in the UK right now feel? Or, how can anyone in the UK adopt a baby or toddler with this nonsense going on? We see these parents posting their stories, we hear the stories of those who were forced and silenced in decades passed, this is insanity.

Anyway, here are some links and updates

There are so many more stories and links, many newer than these. I just feel guilty because these have been sitting in my inbox for a while.

I have contacted my MP here in the UK - he is appalled and is looking further into it.

He is not a member of the Labour party, so he doesn't care what Gordon Brown thinks.

I have also sent a letter to the Conservative Party Leader, David Cameron - he says he is looking at it too.

Over 20 MPs here in the UK have publicly and officially said (for the record) that an inquiry needs to be held.

Gordon Brown will be in for a rough ride when Parliament resumes in September.

His own deputy leader, Harriet Harman, has also spoken out publicly about this - very embarrassing for Gordon.

Shameful. Has Tony Blair been talking to Edna Gladney?

Julie - funny you should ask.

Tony is nowhere to be seen at the moment. He is not even a member of parliament anymore - he does not want to be questioned or challenged on his past actions (coward).

Tony has decided to be an "envoy" to the middle east (NOT a good idea in my opinion after the mess he and George made there!)

One has to wonder if Gordon hopes that he never comes back!
